Talent, Experience and Versatility is what Black Watch brings to the production of TV Promos and Upfronts, and we have been doing so since the very first promo we did for Food Network back in 2000. Since then, we have expanded our clientele considerably, as well as our scope and our reach. We did a complete rebrand of HLN, for example, shooting On-Air Talent in New York, Atlanta and Los Angeles. Scripted, unscripted, green screen, cooking competitions, short turnarounds, wacky locations, rare props, difficult talent, all of the above-we can handle.
Black Watch has a long history of work in the pharma/healthcare industry. We once produced twenty films in twenty-four months for Pfizer, traveling all over the country and into Canada to do so. We've done broadcast commercials, sales films, product-specific films for a variety of drugs and informational films for many different companies, both domestic and international. More recently, we’ve been doing award-winning spots for Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia and educational videos for Infor’s revolutionary Healthcare 3.0 software information systems.
Black Watch Productions has produced cause-related content since before there was such a term as “Cause Marketing.” The Black Watch Team produces effective, efficient, on-message PSAs and commercials for corporations, organizations and charities backed up by years of enthusiasm, imagination, experience and cost conscious production. We have an affinity for projects that create corporate branding within positive messages that give something uplifting back to the world in which we all live.
Black Watch Productions was in on the first wave of branded content projects for clients like Food Network, for whom we’ve produced sponsored versions of “How Do You Iron Chef?” and “Chopped.” We helped create the original web series, “Real Live Test Drive” for the BBC’s Autos website and “D-Tour,” a video series for BBC Travel that was sponsored by Hilton’s Doubletree Hotel brand. We did the pilot for a web series called “Office Space,” for BBC Capital. We also have done branded spots for international clients, like Asahi Kasei, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Panasonic and Astellas Pharmaceuticals.
Black Watch has been part of the new frontier of the Digital Content explosion. This collection of Digital Content consists of elaborate live events (Moto X, Country Crock, Motorola Unboxing), as well as webisodes, internet spots and theatrical promotions. These included a series of Mother’s Day videos for BeechNut Baby Foods and a live cookie-making event at a New Jersey supermarket for Country Crock. Our work on the groundbreaking Moto 21in1 project was shortlisted for two Silver Lions in Cannes and won the Adweek Isaac Award.
Kids and Toys
Black Watch has been deeply involved in the Kids/Toy world since our beginnings, and we have created and produced hundreds of toy commercials and sizzle films as well as award-winning educational films for Scholastic and Golden Entertainment. Creative and energetic, director Monica Anderson brings out the best performances from kids every time. A rarity in the children's toy market, Monica's work includes product for boys, girls, teens, tweens and the combinations in-between.
